There's great tension in this image because we see a wide top over a narrow base and as such it works beautifully. I like this turned through 90deg. clockwise. Maybe I'm too conservative in my composition?
I liked the shapes and the abstraction. It genuinely did not occur to me to shift the perspective away from how I originally saw it. Now I try it, I see it is quite different (and interesting) shifted 90 degrees clockwise as well, I agree.
