Wednesday night saw us take part in the annual Amman Valley 4 Way Battle, unfortunately Trostre & Velindre CC had withdrawn from the competition so this left a 3 way battle. The clubs involved were Amman Valley (host club), Pembrey & Burry Port CC and Neath P.S. and the format was 8 prints and 8 projected images from each club. The judge, Tim Fearnside gave a good showing of himself with constructive criticisms and humourous anecdotes. By the end of the print round the scores were Neath 127, Pembrey 111, Amman Valley 110. After a delightful buffet the battle resumed with the Projected image round. The final scores were Neath 254, Amman Valley 234, Pembrey 229. Many thanks to Amman Valley for hosting the event and making all feel welcome. The turnout from Neath was disappointing to say the least with only 3 members making the short trip to Cwmgorse.
